For exactly 40 years (1985-2025), I've known this company as reliable, reputable, and friendly. The new generation took over the business several years ago and continues these positive qualities. Our 25-year-old Pfister kitchen is still in acceptable condition—nevertheless, we'll replace it at some point. Of course, only at Pfister's in Zell.
Several years ago, we had our front door replaced and were completely satisfied with the work done by the Pfister carpentry workshop. Now we would like to have the locking system renewed or replaced as well, due to the installation of new cylinders. However, the door and cylinder measurements need to be taken first, but attempts to schedule an appointment by email have mostly gone unanswered. The GEWA Zell trade fair is coming up soon, and while I would prefer to support local businesses, in the long run I have no other option but to explore other possibilities. Incidentally, our company, Kuhn Rikon, is also a partner of the Pfister carpentry workshop in Zell. 🙂
I can highly recommend Pfister Schreinerei + Küchenbau AG! We've ordered and had several custom additions installed for our bathroom, kitchen, and built-in wardrobes. Top-notch service, from planning to installation. It couldn't be better – thank you so much!
Unprofessional and Disappointing Communication I recently had a telephone conversation with this company's customer service and am very disappointed with how my issue was handled. From the very beginning of the call, I felt unwelcome. The person on the phone seemed irritable, impatient, and had absolutely no interest in truly listening to me. While I was explaining my issue, I was interrupted several times before I could even fully explain the situation. Basic courtesy and communication skills were lacking. Instead of targeted questions or solutions, I received only evasive answers. When I asked for a specific product that was available in-store, I was incomprehensibly told that I should buy it "somewhere else," not from the company itself. It almost seemed as if they were deliberately trying to get rid of me. Furthermore, I was promised a follow-up email during the in-store call, but I still haven't received it. The entire experience left me with the impression that customer satisfaction is not a priority here. Such a level of disinterest, lack of helpfulness, and lack of professionalism is unacceptable to me, especially when approaching the company as a paying customer with a legitimate request. Addendum to the company's response: Thank you for your statement. However, I would like to clarify that my criticism refers specifically to the initial telephone contact. The conversation was rude and impatient, and I was interrupted several times before I could fully explain my issue. This gave me the impression of not being welcome. Contrary to your statement, I have not received an offer to this day, neither in my inbox nor in my spam folder. The promised feedback regarding further steps via email has therefore not materialized. My decision to ultimately contact another provider was a consequence of this unsatisfactory experience, not a contradiction to it. I find your statement that my review contains "inaccurate statements" inappropriate. I described my personal experience honestly and from a customer's perspective. I hope you will take this feedback as an opportunity to improve your communication style. I wish you continued success with your company.
Great team. A professional and customer-oriented family business with lots of enthusiasm and joy. They offer custom-made furniture and especially kitchens that aren't mass-produced.
Beautiful kitchens and very good service
