Saturday morning, ready to head out for some MTB... when I notice a bolt missing from my rear suspension linkage! It wasn't possible to ride in this condition. Bummer...the local "sports" shop was no help. Then we noticed this out of the way bike shop on google maps. It's located inside a campground. They quickly dug around and came up with the correct bolt saving our ride that day! Thanks a lot! There also appeared to be a variety of gear from top brands available but I was not on a shopping mission. I'll stop in next time for a longer look around.
Great bike repair service. Had an issue while on holidays. It was sorted out quickly and the bike was left in perfect condition.
I visited the small bike shop "Sputnik" in Zweisimmen because I was interested in an e-bike. Initially, I just wanted to get an overview of the products and politely declined any advice. From that point on, however, I had the impression that a taller employee was making fun of me, apparently because of my slight facial paralysis. When I later had some questions about a specific bike, I mustered up the courage to approach the same employee. Unfortunately, I was laughed at again. Furthermore, the employee smelled strongly of alcohol, which I find completely inappropriate in a sales setting. Unfortunately, the owner wasn't there; otherwise, I would have addressed the issue directly with him. Such behavior is disrespectful and unacceptable. My family and I will not be returning to this shop, and I regret that I cannot recommend it. A. Schürch
Rented a beautiful MTB from Sputnik: Scott full suspension, carbon frame, dropper post, and tubeless tires. The bike was in perfect condition and was neatly adjusted. The owner gave good tips on routes. A professional shop where enthusiasts clearly work.
I have to say, this is one of the best bike shops and repairs I've ever experienced. Fantastic customer service, professional advice, flexible, and fast. The price/performance ratio is absolutely right. Simply top-notch. I'll definitely be back!
Excellent service. Fast, straightforward, professional, and courteous. We were there with a rental mountain bike because the stem and headset bearings were making noise. They took care of everything necessary in no time so we could continue enjoying our biking holiday. I was pleasantly surprised to recognize the mechanic who served us.
