Excelentes alojamientos limpios y orientados al aire libre para acceder a las pistas de esquí y disfrutar de excelentes vistas de la ciudad. Como han dicho otros, prepárate para esquiar o caminar con tu equipaje desde la estación de tren o autobús o desde el aparcamiento más cercano. Lars y su familia fueron muy acogedores y amables.
Alojarse en Basecamp fue una experiencia increíble. Larz (propietario) y su familia fueron unos anfitriones increíbles y me proporcionaron todo lo que necesitaba para esquiar después de que las aerolíneas perdieran mi bolso. El Basecamp está justo en la pista de esquí, es un verdadero albergue con acceso directo a las pistas de esquí. Disfruto mucho de mi estadía y no puedo esperar a volver. Recomiendo encarecidamente alojarse aquí.

Doesn’t feel like a hostel but rather a 4 star accomodation. Only downside is that access is only by a 200m walk up the slope (no stairs) which is challenging if you do not have the shoes or desire. Ski in ski out isn’t that beneficial because there are only gondolas at the bottom which negates the benefit of the ski in ski out. Really great service too. Cats and dog roam around which is adorable. Very warm inside. For the price it is incredible.
Stayed here for a few days in December and had an incredible time. Lars is a gracious host and maintains a beautiful property with the best ski access I’ve found. The house is literally on the slope and very close to the gondola/lift. If you want to ski in Andermatt, look no further. I really appreciated the vibe and culture of the place that Lars cultivates. When I was there, most of the other guests were repeat customers, some of whom have stayed there 10+ times. That should tell you everything you need to know.
Wonderfully quirky Hostel on the piste. Hosts were very friendly and helpful, Sauna was amazing, facilities are perfect. Not suitable for this who are not mobile as you have to walk up the piste to get to the Hostel or return from the town. …
