NUEVA RESEÑA: Nos alojamos aquí hace dos meses y tuvimos una experiencia fabulosa. Escribí la siguiente reseña que dejo aquí para mostrar el contraste. Parece que el hotel tiene nuevos propietarios y nos dieron una habitación realmente fría en el primer piso el 29 de octubre. Llamamos a recepción y tardaron una eternidad en conseguirnos un calentador y cuando finalmente lo hicieron no funcionó. A las 2:30 am estaba preparado para partir y bajé a recepción para obtener un reembolso y reservar un taxi. El chico de recepción no emitió el reembolso de la habitación y tuvimos que llamar a Hotels.com para que aceptara. Un tipo de pesadilla con actitud. Incluso le dijo a la señora por teléfono que hacía calor afuera y en las habitaciones. Luego dijo una mentira que tenían otras 70 habitaciones reservadas y que nadie más se había quejado nunca. Es un edificio grande y están ahorrando en calefacción mientras cargan con 150 CHF o más. Es una pena ver partir al antiguo dueño, tenían algo especial aquí. RESEÑA ANTIGUA: Experiencia impresionante. Nos alojamos una noche y estoy escribiendo esto desde la mesa del desayuno. Comimos el filete tomahawk en el restaurante del hotel después de nuestra llegada, delicioso sabor. El desayuno también era muy bueno, ingredientes frescos, jamones y salmón de buena calidad, y una amplia selección de alimentos y chefs preparándolos. La habitación estaba impecablemente limpia, la ducha era increíble e incluso como mujer me encantó el ambiente de los autos clásicos en todo el hotel. El personal de recepción fue muy amable y tuvimos un camarero encantador que nos atendió.
El hotel es ideal para hacer una parada de camino a otros destinos. Amplio estacionamiento, habitaciones bellamente terminadas y personal muy amable. Merece la pena echarle un vistazo a la colección de coches expuesta; Como entusiasta de los coches, incluso lo visité dos veces :). ¿Hay algo negativo que decir? Sí, lo hay. El desayuno podría haber sido más fresco. No encajaba del todo con la ambientación del hotel y el precio.
Buenas habitaciones y ambiente, no la mejor comida, la ubicación no es buena. Lo recomendaría si no vas a quedarte aquí durante todo tu viaje un poco lejos de la ciudad.
First, the hotel has a bar right outside just at the entrance which plays really loud music starting after sunset. You would think they would have more of a calm & sophisticated vibe but this showed otherwise. At some point there was even really loud music audible all the way from our room in the upper floors at night until 1:00am. The rooms are spacious which was good, however they are really dusty. Besides, the rooms cannot be locked from the inside, meaning anyone from cleaning service can open the door from outside even though you’re in the room, which happened to us and they opened the door despite knowing that we were there. There was even a big spider web on the chairs outside in the terrace. Expected much more in terms of hygiene. Speaking of which, the terrace is not private there is just a small separating wall but once the person walks a bit to the front they can see all the rooms on that side of the floor. The museum was nice to see. The breakfast is quite average as there is not much variety for a 4 star hotel and some of the pastries were dry and the scrambled eggs were placed right next to the bacon in the buffet and some were using the same spatula to grab both which might not be a suitable option for anyone who doesn’t eat meat/bacon. One of the waitresses at breakfast was also really rude and never smiled at anyone. The ladies at the reception were really nice though.
