It costs 3 francs per adult and 1 franc per child. It's almost impossible to get there by car unless you're willing to walk a long way. And the neighbors are worse than the FBI; you're constantly being watched and checked to make sure everything is in its place. If you don't comply, the police are called immediately, even though there are no parking restrictions or other prohibitions. You're better off going somewhere else; you don't feel comfortable being constantly observed.

Very clean barbecue area. Plenty of tables, some with covered seating. Light, water (besides the stream, there's also a drinking fountain), toilet, firewood, etc. are available. Very inviting place to linger. It was fantastic. Reservations recommended!

A secluded barbecue area situated on the edge of the forest by a stream. Managed by Merligen Tourism, it invites visitors to linger. Drinking water, restrooms, and a beautiful view are available.
