On December 23, 2025, I received a collection notice from the debt collection office. It stated that I had to pick up a letter within two days. No information was available by phone. However, the debt collection office was closed for winter holidays. Unfortunately, the opening hours hadn't been updated; there was only a note on the door. My experience today, when I went to pick up the letter, was just as negative. The woman at the counter was gossiping about the customers with her colleague and was also very unfriendly to me. I think that, especially at a public office, one can expect a minimum level of courtesy.
Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with my experience with the reservation at the old schoolhouse. Even before the cancellation, the phone calls were unfriendly and gave me a bad feeling about dealing with customers. When I had to cancel the reservation due to an unexpected emergency, there was unfortunately no understanding or cooperation. Despite timely notification and several phone calls, I was only refunded half the amount, which I find very unfortunate given the circumstances. Overall, I would have appreciated significantly more understanding and more respectful communication.
"I find it very regrettable when employees at the counter don't even say a simple 'goodbye'. Courtesy and a friendly demeanor should be a given – especially in direct customer contact. People who lack this basic friendliness have no place at the counter." Counter A
