Recientemente nos alojamos en el Hotel AVA en la estación de Sempach y, en general, fue una experiencia decepcionante. La ubicación es extremadamente remota, muy lejos de la ciudad y de otros pueblos cercanos, y no hay supermercado, cafetería ni servicios básicos cerca, lo que hace que la comodidad diaria sea un verdadero desafío. Las habitaciones carecen incluso de instalaciones básicas: ni hervidor, ni utensilios, ni electrodomésticos. Cocinar o preparar incluso un pequeño refrigerio es básicamente imposible. La habitación se sentía vacía y desnuda, lo que hacía que la estadía fuera incómoda, especialmente si estás acostumbrado a hoteles que brindan comodidades simples. El desayuno fue otra decepción: muy limitado, no fresco y el café casi no tenía sabor. Por el precio, se sintió muy por debajo de las expectativas. Otros puntos: Las habitaciones son limpias pero minimalistas hasta el punto de resultar incómodas. El hotel no es apto para peatones; necesitarás un coche para cualquier cosa más allá del hotel. En general, para una estancia en la zona de Sempach, no recomendaría este hotel a menos que la ubicación no importe en absoluto. Resumen: 2 estrellas, principalmente debido a la ubicación remota, la falta de servicios cercanos, la falta de instalaciones en las habitaciones y el desayuno deficiente. En general, el Hotel AVA sólo es adecuado si la ubicación no es una prioridad. La falta de instalaciones básicas en las habitaciones, el mal desayuno y el entorno remoto lo convierten en una experiencia de 2 estrellas. Los viajeros que buscan comodidad, comodidades o actividades cercanas probablemente encontrarán este hotel decepcionante.

El hotel estaba muy limpio y moderno. Me encantó la ducha en el baño, me daban ganas de ducharme un par de veces al día. La recepcionista fue muy acogedora, divertida y brindó un excelente servicio al cliente. Me impresionó que el personal de limpieza incluso doblara mi pijama en mi cama. La ubicación está frente a la estación de tren, pero me impresiona lo tranquilo que es, a solo 25 minutos de Lucerna en tren. Muchas gracias por ir más allá en todo y no puedo recomendar lo suficiente este hotel.
We arrived with a tour group, but the lobby manager refused to let us rest in the lobby and made us wait in line on the back staircase. His attitude was extremely poor, so I would rate the service a zero. The manager repeatedly reminded our tour guide not to take the bottles from the rooms. We wondered what treasures they might be, only to find upon entering the room that they were plain water bottles refilled daily for guests to drink. This was the first time I had encountered such a stingy hotel. The hotel has only one elevator, which caused delays for tour groups checking into their rooms. While the hotel’s exterior appears newly renovated and the rooms are clean, there is no air conditioning—only a fan, which feels quite basic. The bathroom had a noticeable odor, and connecting my phone to the Wi-Fi triggered security warnings, so use it with caution. The rooms are also very close to the railway tracks, resulting in significant noise. The restaurant’s decor is poor, resembling a factory. The napkins were black—a major taboo. The overall dining experience was unpleasant. When we reported these issues to our tour guide, he informed us that we would only stay at this hotel for one night before transferring to another. The guide stated that he would notify the head office to add this hotel to their blacklist.
We stayed at this hotel for two nights and was very impressed by George, who was extremely polite, friendly, and welcoming. The hotel itself is spotless, with spacious and modern rooms. Breakfast was excellent, and the two ladies working in the breakfast area were very accommodating and eager to assist. The location is also ideal, being very close to the train station—just grab a ticket and you’re on your way. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Best hotel i have ever join in Swiss and the best reception guys. George is best not only because is from Greece,(for me is an extra point)but because he knows how must be a receptionist-barman etc,with the clients! Clean and fresh rooms also,with the balconies that you can take your drink,undisturbed! Wish you all the best.Next time, first choice!
