The service is expensive. The cleaning was completely inadequate and had to be redone twice. My registered letter complaining about the defects was not collected. I recommend everyone use a different service. Attached are photos after the cleaning by Umzugsfuchs.
The move itself was generally quick and on schedule. Unfortunately, two pieces of furniture were damaged. We were shown one of them, but not the other – it was apparently taken away without our knowledge. We only learned of the second damage through feedback from the carpenter. Particularly annoying: a glue joint was discovered on this second piece, which the moving company claims originated with us – we deny this, as the piece of furniture has never been moved since we bought it. Unfortunately, we hadn't photographed the wardrobe before the move, something we would definitely do differently in the future. After a lengthy discussion, however, the movers admitted the damage and replaced the furniture. Important screws were left on the bed, which we then couldn't find, and in the end, we paid without the wardrobe being fully assembled. During unloading in the elevator, little care was taken; pieces of furniture visibly bumped against the walls several times. Furniture was hastily assembled and not properly adjusted. Communication was also difficult, as the employees had limited German language skills. Overall, a mixed impression: punctuality and pace are good, but a lack of transparency, carelessness, and language barriers are detrimental.
We would use them again in a heartbeat. Our move from our apartment went smoothly, extremely quickly, and was very well organized. Nothing was damaged, and the four men were very friendly and accommodating. Many thanks to the amazing movers! Hats off to you!
