Gsto gave us a warm welcome. Gsto has extensive and long-standing experience and knows "his" area inside and out. He is straightforward, sociable, cheerful, and always up for a joke. Helpful and informative until the last minute. He is very close to nature and treats it with great respect, happily sharing his knowledge. It was a great pleasure and very educational for us. The name of Gsto, the owner of this project, is prominently displayed on the exterior wall of his workshop, making it very easy to find. Although we didn't follow him into the forest and along the river to pan for gold, simply learning and experiencing gold panning in his workshop was enough to excite us. When you scoop a bowlful of pebbles and sand from a bucket into a half-grooved rubber basin, and sift the sand and gravel using the techniques Gsto taught you, your eyes will inevitably light up, because we actually found gold. Then you pick up the gold with your fingers and put it in a small bottle to take home. In his workshop, you can also participate in polishing stones; rough stones are transformed into exquisite jewelry—the perfect souvenir!
My mother and son thoroughly enjoyed gold panning and afterwards enthusiastically shared their impressions with me. Many thanks for the interesting day, and we will gladly recommend this activity!
