Premièrement : nous avons payé pour une vue sur la montagne, mais il y avait une grosse et laide grue rouge sur le chemin. Lorsque nous sommes allés à la réception pour demander si nous pouvions changer de chambre de l'autre côté, ils ont répondu non, mais ils ont un supplément de 300 $ par nuit. Deuxièmement: le lit de taille «Queen» était en fait LITTÉRALEMENT deux lits jumeaux rapprochés. Mon mari est tombé entre les mailles du filet toute la nuit. Troisièmement : aucun moyen de contrôler la température dans la pièce. Pas de thermostat. Quatrièmement : des oreillers horribles. Deux oreillers pour un lit « queen » et ils étaient plats et vieux. Nous avons dû les plier en deux pour obtenir un certain confort. Ne réservez PAS ici. La chambre était vraiment petite, ce qui serait bien si la chambre était confortable et la vue était superbe.
Le personnel de l'hôtel est sympathique. Le petit déjeuner est bon. La propreté de la chambre peut être améliorée. Ce serait bien si les chaussons de chambre étaient disponibles dans la chambre.
Une vue magnifique depuis notre chambre qui était spacieuse et propre. Bon petit déjeuner avec une large gamme d'options et un personnel de bar fabuleusement attentif, sympathique et efficace. L'hôtel est également très bien situé, très accessible à pied depuis les restaurants, etc. dans la ville principale. Dans l'ensemble, 5 étoiles pour le Sunstar.

I had a great experience. The hotel is very well located, close to all amenities and right in front of the cable cars taking you to the ski slopes. The rooms are clean and very well lit (unlike some where you can't even read). They felt warm and cozy. Also love the fact that you don't need to put your key card in the slot to have light in your room. The only thing missing was extra pillows. The indoor pool is wonderful and has a fantastic view of the snowy mountains, absolutely breathtaking. They have 2 dining rooms, a buffet and a formal dining. You can have a tasty breakfast in the buffet room. The staff were all very nice and friendly. Special thanks to Kitti the barmaid, waitresses Margarida, Barbara, Mara and Carolina, who served us dinner on Christmas eve and Christmas day, wonderful girls. Thank you also to Luís and Daniel for the wonderful breakfast service and Lillie and Dot (apologies I don't know how to spell it) at the front desk. I absolutely recommend this hotel. Although a bit expensive. I will definitely stay there again. Also Grindelwald is a beautiful town, very typical. Top marks.
Great location, dining and wellness facilities. Rooms OK but a bit outdated , same as part of the elevators, hallway etc. Pool was closed on arrival day without any notice to us, the staff was nice to try to give some gifts but unfortunately the pool was one of the main reasons for choosing the hotel.
