Service exceptionnel, honnêtement le meilleur que j’ai jamais connu. L’hospitalité de l’équipe est authentique et passionnée, sans aucune contrainte. La nourriture est absolument délicieuse, joliment présentée et clairement préparée avec beaucoup de soin et de qualité. Tout cela est complété par une atmosphère à la fois moderne et chaleureuse qui vous permet de vous sentir à l'aise dès votre arrivée. Un endroit où vous aurez certainement envie de revenir.

Nous avons eu une demande de dernière minute et nous cherchions désespérément le bon endroit pour célébrer notre mariage civil. Heureusement que nous connaissons Leena et Shoko bar depuis le début de son voyage, et elle nous a gentiment proposé d'organiser notre petit festin. J'ai toujours rêvé d'un brunch de mariage romantique et Leena a réalisé mon rêve : nous avons eu le gâteau de mariage parfait, des plats délicieux et des boissons uniques (comme on peut toujours s'y attendre de Shoko). J'avais une vision très simple mais élégante de la décoration de notre table et Leena m'a tout de suite compris, elle s'est assurée que tout était exactement comme je le voulais. Et ça l’était. Nous avons passé un si beau moment, quelque chose dont nous nous souviendrons pour le reste de notre vie et tout cela grâce à Leena et son équipe incroyable !!

Nous adorons cet endroit! C’est l’un de nos endroits préférés à visiter entre amis et en famille. La nourriture est toujours délicieuse, joliment présentée et pleine de saveurs. L'atmosphère est chaleureuse et accueillante, parfaite pour un brunch ou un dîner détendu. Le propriétaire est incroyablement sympathique et fait en sorte que tout le monde se sente comme chez soi.

A Hidden Gem in Lachen I ’ve been to Shoko Brunch & Bar a few times now, and each visit has been nothing short of outstanding. From the food and drinks to the warm, inviting ambience, everything here feels thoughtfully crafted and delivered with genuine passion. It’s easily one of my absolute favorite spots in Switzerland. Savoury dishes • Shakshuka: If I had to pick one dish that truly stole my heart, it would be this. Perfectly spiced, deeply flavorful, and served with toasted sourdough bread that tastes almost otherworldly. This dish alone makes me want to return again and again! Unfortunately, I was so excited to eat it that I didn’t even take a photo. • Avo Sunrise: Fresh, vibrant, and simply delicious. Comforting yet light – a true brunch classic, done right. Sweet dishes • Choco Berry Dream: Mind-blowingly good! After trying this, I realized I had never truly experienced what proper Belgian waffles are supposed to taste like. Worth a trip from Zurich just for this dessert! • White Chocolate with Orange & Wild Flowers Tart: A unique creation with a sweet, fragrant profile – delicate, surprising, and absolutely memorable. Beverages One of the things I appreciate most is the attention to quality, even in drinks. They offer four different milk alternatives – a small but thoughtful detail that makes a big difference. • Chai Latte: Far more authentic than the overly sweet versions you usually find in Zurich. Herbal, spiced, and perfectly balanced – a true comfort in a cup. • Matcha Latte: Very tasty and not too sweet! What really impressed me is that they know exactly which milk alternative goes best with the matcha flavour without overshadowing it. It’s a perfect example of the restaurant’s commitment to making sure every cup tastes outstanding. • Fresh Lemon & Ginger Tea: Truly the best I’ve ever had. Packed with fresh ginger chunks and the right amount of lemon, it’s both healing and invigorating. The atmosphere & the heart behind it The ambience is cozy yet stylish, with a warmth that makes you want to linger. On top of that, the entire place is spotlessly clean, and it’s clear that great care is taken not only with the food and service but with every corner of the restaurant. Even the bathroom carries that same thoughtful touch – from the pristine cleanliness to the wonderfully fragrant, high-quality soap that makes you smile at this little detail. It’s the kind of consistency that elevates the whole experience. But what truly sets Shoko apart is the spirit of its owner. A charismatic, warm-hearted woman, she opened this restaurant about a year ago — and you can feel that it’s her passion project. I’ll never forget arriving in drenched motorcycle gear one rainy day, expecting to feel awkward in such a beautiful place. Instead, she welcomed me with a warm smile and genuine kindness. That moment alone made me realize just how special this restaurant is. You can tell that every detail — from the dishes to the design, cleanliness, and service — is infused with energy, love and care. And it shows. Shoko Brunch & Bar isn’t just a restaurant, it’s a real experience, one that makes you want to keep coming back. I’m already looking forward to my next visits and excited to see how this beautiful restaurant continues to grow and thrive. Treat yourself and make the trip. It’s absolutely worth it.

I accidentally found this amazing place. The owner Leena was so warm welcoming and super friendly. I had their popular lava chocolate pancakes. The portion was so generous and it was super delicious. I felt one of those cafe's i went in London. Super thanks for bringing a London vibe. Service was amazing. I can definitely recommend this place for brunch or a coffee.

A wonderful spot with an excellent selection of wines by the glass and beautifully crafted cocktails. The Porn Star Martini was absolutely fantastic, and the whole experience was elevated by the stylish, elegant setting. A place I always happily return to.
