Restaurant Edelweiss Mürren — Rauft 1068, 3825 Mürren, Switzerland

C'est peut-être facilement le restaurant le plus pittoresque où vous aurez jamais mangé. La nourriture était fantastique, la soupe au bouillon de bœuf était vraiment bonne, tout comme la bolognaise. Malgré d'autres critiques sur un service épouvantable, le nôtre était incroyable et gentil. Je prendrais le risque si vous êtes sur la clôture.

Des vues incroyablement belles et la pizza était tout aussi bonne. Les quatre fromages étaient incroyables et ils ne lésinent pas sur les garnitures. Pizza de grande taille pour quelqu'un qui mange beaucoup (j'en ai mangé moi-même 1-1/2). Très bonne ambiance et vous ne pouvez pas battre les vues. Le strudel aux pommes était également super !

Je ne comprends pas les avis négatifs sur cet endroit… Nous avons trouvé ça génial ! J'ai pris le plat de lentilles au curry et mon mari a pris l'un des plats de pommes de terre rissolées. Notre vin et notre bière étaient délicieux et le service était excellent. Personnel très sympathique ! Avis d’un Américain (de Louisiane), pour ce que ça vaut.

I had the Swiss Pork Steak, with I would refer to as pork schnitzel. It was a lightly coated piece of pork, with noodles and vegetables. My wide had a large mixed salad, and a bowl of Hungarian Goulash, which was more of a meat-based soup. We both enjoyed the meals. For dessert, we split a piece of apple strudel on vanilla cream sauce that looked better than it tasted. Service was professional, but not particularly friendly. Two qualifiers to this restauant: 1. The view from outside would be a 85 on a scale of 1 to 5. It's just not possible to have better view of the mountains. 2. We were charged 5 Francs (almost $6.00 for TAP water (NOT) bottled water. I don't remember seeing this on the menu, and the waitress just shrugged when I questioned it. Keep in mind, this is a town that has flowing water spigot of water from the mountains. Restaurants need to stop having needless charges that tend to ruin the experience.

Swiss food presented in a gorgeous alpine setting. The service we received was very friendly. The dishes we had were good quality at a fair price relative to the area. We are planning to return again tomorrow to try the steak.

Breathtaking views alone make it worth the price and time. Staff is very friendly and pleasant. Food is average at best but overall experience was great
