What I experienced on Friday afternoon, February 14, 2025, is hard to put into words. I was on bus number 40 when we stopped near MediaMarkt. The bus driver first had to maneuver around a very awkwardly parked truck. What happened next shocked me deeply. The bus driver got out to check on things – and suddenly, the shock erupted. The truck driver, an employee of the company in question, reacted with a brazenness and aggression I never would have expected. He threatened the bus driver with punches and displayed behavior marked by a shocking racist streak – despite the fact that the bus driver was Swiss. This is not only outrageous, but absolutely unacceptable. The aggression he displayed and the words he chose were so terrible that it took your breath away. The bus driver, on the other hand, reacted with remarkable calm and professionalism. I admire his composure, because I certainly wouldn't have responded to this gentleman with the same courtesy. That shows true greatness and human dignity. I appeal to the truck driver's company: Talk to your employees! Such behavior is unacceptable and has no place in our society. Anyone who behaves this way would immediately lose their position in my company. There is no place for such aggressive, racist people in a civilized world!
