Le cordon bleu était parfait : croustillant, tendre et plein de saveur. Il convient également de noter le service attentionné et amical, qui opère avec passion et fait de chaque visite un plaisir. Nous venons ici depuis des années et n'avons jamais été déçus.
Oh, it really hurts: The game menu was simply wonderful, the wines great, the rooms rustic, the decor subtle and stylish… Buuuut: with a noise level occasionally exceeding 100 decibels, we didn't want to stay even a minute longer. Another downside is the halogen lamps, which are extremely blinding depending on where you're sitting. We'll come back, but definitely not on a Saturday again.
A truly fantastic restaurant! We had venison here, and the flambéed saddle of venison was absolutely amazing!! The service was incredibly friendly, attentive, and quick, without making us feel rushed. The saddle of venison was incredibly tender and cooked to perfection. It was served in two courses, and the side dishes for the second course were different from the first, which was a great change of pace. The ambiance is very inviting, and even though the restaurant was completely full, the noise level was pleasant, and we still had plenty of privacy. We will definitely be back. Truly wonderful from start to finish!
Anyone looking for a country inn with creative and fine dishes, who appreciates friendly and competent service and a cozy, rustic yet modern ambiance, shouldn't pass by. Although we live in Baselland, we would certainly drive by again or plan a trip just to have to/be able to stop by. It would be more than worth the detour, if not the trip itself.
