Abbiamo visitato un gruppo di 6 adulti e 2 bambini di età inferiore ai 6 anni. Siamo stati informati che il ristorante era occupato e che un tavolo avrebbe potuto essere disponibile in circa 30 minuti. Questo era del tutto comprensibile e abbiamo deciso di aspettare. Dopo aver trascorso quel tempo fuori a -5°C con due bambini piccoli, siamo tornati come suggerito, solo per sentirci dire nuovamente che non c'era nessun tavolo disponibile. Ciò si è ripetuto, nonostante i tavoli e la disposizione dei posti a sedere chiaramente visibili che avrebbero potuto consentire qualche aggiustamento. Il problema non era la capacità, ma l’assenza di qualsiasi tentativo di trovare una soluzione. Nessuna flessibilità, nessuna iniziativa e nessuna considerazione per un gruppo di pazienti con bambini piccoli. È interessante notare che un tavolo si è reso disponibile proprio quando abbiamo deciso di partire. Purtroppo a quel punto la nostra cabinovia era pronta per la partenza, cosa che ovviamente abbiamo comunque pagato. Tempismo eccellente. Le giornate impegnative sono comprensibili. Ciò che è più difficile da comprendere è la totale mancanza di ospitalità oltre al fatto di affermare “no” più volte. Una piccola dose di flessibilità e buon senso avrebbero cambiato completamente questa esperienza.

Bel ristorante con magnifica vista sul lago dei Quattro Cantoni, anche se possiamo vederlo solo in quel momento a causa della nebbia. Puoi prendere la funivia da Hergiswill oppure puoi salire al ristorante e prendere la funivia per scendere, cosa che abbiamo fatto noi.

The location is amazing. You eat while you see the view of Lucerne. The food was very tasty and the staff friendly. We loved it.❤️❤️

Delicious food, gorgeous view and great service. I started with the duck liver. I’m usually not too keen on liver, but i’m glad I tried this time. Very soft and doesn’t have that usual metallic liver taste.. This dish is an absolute must. Do not leave without having tried that. I proceeded with Cordon Bleu. Although this was filling, it did not satisfy my hunger needs, hence asked for Älplermaccaronie as I was in Switzerland for only short period of time, and needed list to tick off. I find it a little bit sad how normal it is to serve Cordon Bleu with fries on the side. Fries are just fries, nothing unique, just a stomach filler. I reckon instead of fries there should be an option to have Älplermaccaroney. At last I had a Cremeschnitte.. it was good, but nothing special. I wish I studied the options a bit better. I was really full at this stage, therefore wanted something light. Honestly, great spot. Been here like 7 years ago and was looking forward to visit again. Next time i visit Switzerland, i will return to this restaurant.. for sure. The view is unreal as others have pointed out, and the prices are extremely reasonable. Thank you

Very good food, beautiful atmosphere, friendly but slow service. We were the first to sit down for lunch but were only allowed to order food after five other tables were fully serviced. That was after we told the waitress we were ready to order, which also only took <five minutes. Didn't bother me too much, just don't be in a rush if you visit here. The food was well worth it. Although I would prefer thicker fries over julienned ones.
