Eccellenti sistemazioni per sciare e sciare, pulite e orientate all'aria aperta, con splendide viste sulla città. Come altri hanno notato, preparati a sciare o a fare un'escursione con i bagagli dalla stazione dei treni o degli autobus o dal parcheggio più vicino. Lars e la sua famiglia sono stati molto accoglienti e cordiali.
Soggiornare al Basecamp è stata un'esperienza straordinaria. Larz (il proprietario) e la sua famiglia sono stati dei padroni di casa incredibili e mi hanno fornito tutto ciò di cui avevo bisogno per sciare dopo che la mia borsa era stata smarrita dalle compagnie aeree. Il Basecamp è proprio sulla pista da sci, è un vero ostello sulle piste da sci. Mi piace moltissimo il mio soggiorno e non vedo l'ora di tornarci. Consiglio vivamente di soggiornare qui.

Doesn’t feel like a hostel but rather a 4 star accomodation. Only downside is that access is only by a 200m walk up the slope (no stairs) which is challenging if you do not have the shoes or desire. Ski in ski out isn’t that beneficial because there are only gondolas at the bottom which negates the benefit of the ski in ski out. Really great service too. Cats and dog roam around which is adorable. Very warm inside. For the price it is incredible.
Stayed here for a few days in December and had an incredible time. Lars is a gracious host and maintains a beautiful property with the best ski access I’ve found. The house is literally on the slope and very close to the gondola/lift. If you want to ski in Andermatt, look no further. I really appreciated the vibe and culture of the place that Lars cultivates. When I was there, most of the other guests were repeat customers, some of whom have stayed there 10+ times. That should tell you everything you need to know.
Wonderfully quirky Hostel on the piste. Hosts were very friendly and helpful, Sauna was amazing, facilities are perfect. Not suitable for this who are not mobile as you have to walk up the piste to get to the Hostel or return from the town. …
