Abbiamo soggiornato nell'hotel annesso a questo ristorante. Se ti trovi in ​​zona devi fare un viaggio per provare una delle tante scelte in questo menu! Non rimarrai deluso! Il cibo era autentico e delizioso. Gli ingredienti sono freschi e le porzioni sono grandi, quindi vieni affamato! Il servizio era eccezionale, veloce e i proprietari erano lì a servire e chiacchierare con i clienti. Era un'atmosfera rilassata e divertente in cui chiunque si sarebbe divertito con la famiglia, gli amici, gli appuntamenti o da solo. Non posso dire abbastanza cose positive su questo posto e questa esperienza.

Un ristorante così carino e accogliente. Non avevamo prenotato ma ci hanno sistemato. Il cibo era autentico e delizioso! Sono molto generosi con la porzione di rost. Adoro il piatto di salsicce del contadino. La fonduta al vino bianco è stata una bella aggiunta. Buona selezione anche di birra svizzera. Anche arrivare qui non è facile per i turisti! È in salita e devi solo guidare con attenzione ed essere consapevole. Ma per il resto la vista fuori da questo ristorante è mozzafiato! Accettano carte ma preferiscono contanti.

Eccezionale. Servizio fantastico e ottimi piatti locali. Ci tengo a sottolineare che è locale perché non troverete bistecche, pizza, pasta o piatti simili provenienti da fuori regione. Tuttavia, c'è una fantastica bistecca di maiale con rösti, fonduta, raclette e una varietà di salsicce servite in vari modi. Il servizio è incredibilmente cordiale e la vista sul lago e sulla vicina Brienz è assolutamente eccezionale. Potrebbe essere necessaria la prenotazione durante l'alta stagione. Siamo riusciti a entrare dalla strada verso le 18, ma ogni tavolo aveva una prenotazione per le 19 e le 20. Ci piacerebbe ritornare. Un ottimo ristorante.

Great food, great view, great atmosphere. What more could you ask for. Helpful staff, helped us with picking the right food not to overeat ourselves. The road to restaurant is quite funny as well. The goulash was great with good bread. Rösti was delicious, steak was cocked a little too much but was tasty. Bratwurst was good with great onion sauce, Kartofel salad was a just little too salty. Foundee was tasty with a lot of bread pieces to eat it :) Best part was the Nesselrode for the dessert, it was very tasty and the portion was surprisingly big! Great end of the evening!!

Delicious food. Friendly staff. Great location (parking free and has around 10 spaces). Very cosy environment. Amazing Swiss 🇨🇭 Experience. Perfectly-sized portions. Recomendable and will definitely return soon! Recommended Dishes: Rösti Natural, Raclette and Goulash

We had a lovely experience at a this cozy Swiss restaurant overlooking the stunning Brienz Lake. The view alone is worth the visit: calm waters framed by majestic mountains, creating a serene and picturesque backdrop for a meal. It seems to be a family-owned place, and that warmth really comes through in the service. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We ordered the raclette, and it was absolutely delicious—rich, comforting, and served with all the traditional accompaniments. It’s clear they take pride in their food and presentation. One thing to note: the kitchen closes quite early, at 8 PM, so it’s best to plan ahead if you’re hoping for a late dinner. Prices were surprisingly reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the location. Overall, it was a memorable dining experience with great food, kind service, and unbeatable views. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Brienz area!
