If you are looking for a local IT department that leaves you alone with your IT problems due to poor advice regarding hardware, unwillingness/inability to provide support... or simply bills you for uncontrolled work in the background without a basic contract/maintenance contract, so that invoices are sent every 2-3 days and not according to the latest IT standards, even though it would have been mandatory even before the nDSG to record who has access to which data, where and how the data is stored and, above all, secured, then go ahead: major problems and endless annoyance are inevitable. After 16 years of cooperation and the last 2.5 years close to a nervous breakdown because you sit in front of the PC like a spastic and have to log in/out what feels like 100 times in one evening because the remote desktop doesn't work, and you, like me, have to log into five examination rooms with a suspicious login, but only have access to your full email account in one room. the remote maintenance costs are piling up immeasurably...we will now switch to professionals so that the misery will finally come to an end
