Dear Mr. Storrer, I wanted to apologize for the poor evaluation and its consequences. I was disappointed after the rejection, even though I had received a verbal offer and was asked to decline all other possible offers beforehand. I don't hold a grudge. I'm about to complete my master craftsman's examination and now understand what you meant back then. You can tell when you have a master craftsman sitting at your table. Perhaps the added pressure to complete the advanced training ultimately gave me the motivation to do so.
