I find all the positive reviews of Mr. Jomarron baffling. I received several phone calls that I ignored, but the most recent one my pregnancy brain forgot to scan and realize who it could be. I almost hung up, but Mr. Jomarron was able to sweet talk his way into convincing us to come by for an appointment by saying that as a family we should get 10% off and that he didn't see us in the system as a family. During the appointment, he explained that the sales tactic was to contact all the current clients who were not currently signed up for any supplementary insurance beyond TOP. He also explained that insurance companies aren't allowed to make a profit off of basic insurance, and that their profit comes solely from selling supplementary insurance (as does part of his paycheck). Most of the information provided on what options are best to choose for myself and for our unborn child was useless if not downright misinformed. The fear tactic he used to explain that Hospital Eco is an absolute must have (which I already had...) is that if you need hospital treatment in a canton different than the one you live in, you will have to pay the whole amount out of pocket. After checking if my husband also had it, we discovered one would only have to pay the difference in cost compared to your home canton. The extra 10% discount he promised? He forgot about it until we asked during the last 5 minutes remaining, and he emailed us the form to fill out at home. He seemed reluctant, because again it cuts into the profit margin (and maybe even any commission?). After searching on google, turns out this discount is only for supplementary insurance anyways, which turns out to be less than 5 francs a month. I would have rather saved an hour of my life. The worst part was the very end, where he put us on the spot to write a google review mentioning his name and how pleased we were. He insisted that if we left the room we would forget to do it at home, so my husband wrote 2 words to make him leave us alone and deleted it the second we walked out the door. I have no problem with other people selling expensive things to rich people to make a profit, but what worries me is that these sales tactics seem to work on everyone writing these reviews and I'm almost certain that not all of them has money to throw away. P.S. We are VERY happy with Helsana's insurance coverage and customer support and have been happy clients for years and will continue to be insured through them because we truly believe they're the best. We honestly expected better from them as a company and from someone directly representing them.
