Un'esperienza culinaria eccezionale dall'inizio alla fine. L'Oberer Mönchhof offre una raffinata cucina svizzera con precisione, equilibrio e chiara sicurezza culinaria. Ho iniziato con l'Entenleber, che era eccezionale e perfettamente preparato, ricco ma elegante e meravigliosamente bilanciato dagli elementi di accompagnamento. I sapori erano puliti e armoniosi, permettendo alla qualità dell'ingrediente di risplendere senza appesantire. Per la portata principale, il filetto di cotenna è stato cucinato alla perfezione: tenero, pieno di sapore e abbinato a una salsa profonda, strutturata e sapientemente ridotta. Ogni componente del piatto aveva uno scopo, creando un piatto composto e soddisfacente. Al di là del cibo, l'atmosfera è calma e intima e il servizio è attento, professionale e puntuale per tutta la serata. Considerando il livello della cucina, dell'esecuzione e del servizio, il valore complessivo è eccellente per la cucina raffinata di Zurigo. Un ristorante che comprende veramente la qualità, la moderazione e la coerenza. Altamente raccomandato

Persone amichevoli e attente che consigliano piatti deliziosi. Incredibile selezione di vini e bella atmosfera. Il mio preferito era il piatto di pesce al tartufo.

È stato un lunedì tranquillo nella città di Zurigo. Ho appena finito il tour di Lindt e ho avuto la possibilità di provare questo meraviglioso ristorante. "Oberer Manchoh è una scoperta fantastica! La posizione è assolutamente meravigliosa e il cibo è ancora migliore. Ho mangiato il foie gras, cucinato alla perfezione. Anche se mi mancava la salsa di mirtilli rossi, era comunque incredibilmente deliziosa. Anche la bistecca era eccezionale. Lo consiglio vivamente!"

This is a very nice traditional swiss house with amazing views to the lake Zurich that has been renovated. The menu is a one pager with several starters and several main dishes, with all kinds of flavor combinations. And they have a closed price for a 2 starters, a main and a dessert (drinks not included). The food was excellent: very well cooked and nicely presented. To be honest is the first time in 10 years that i see foie (duck liber) offered in a restaurant, almost no swiss person i know has ever heard of foie or even paté. Id like to remark that it's not the type of restaurant I would go any given weekend, since its very modern and creative, for me is more like a "special occasion" type of restaurant. The service was nice, although a tad slow. The starters took at least 15min to come, and from the second starter to the maim it took around 25min. The price is high, but you won't find this kind of food in many places, with so many well-thought, properly cooked, modern recipes.

One of the best experience I've ever had. The food was incredebly good, so the people, always nice and ready to help you enjoy of the experience. We really enjoyed the dinner and hopefully we will come back.
