Bella casa e posizione! La casa si trova nella valle delle Alpi e non potrebbe avere uno scenario più pittoresco. Edith è un'ospite eccezionale ed è stata estremamente gentile e disponibile durante il nostro soggiorno. La stazione ferroviaria è a cinque minuti a piedi da casa, quindi il trasporto è molto semplice. La casa era molto pulita e confortevole e ci tornerei sicuramente.

La mia famiglia ha avuto un'esperienza meravigliosa soggiornando a casa di Edith a Burglauenen. Era così tranquillo che era davvero difficile andarsene. Edith è stata molto disponibile e aveva buoni consigli sulla zona. La posizione e il panorama erano fantastici. Spero sinceramente di tornare un giorno quando avrò la possibilità di percorrere il sentiero dell'Eiger. Consiglierò questa casa ai miei amici e alla mia famiglia che vogliono venire in Svizzera.

Ci siamo divertiti moltissimo con l'appartamento. È ben posizionato, pulito, abbastanza spazioso per una famiglia di quattro persone e gestito da una famiglia meravigliosa. Edith è stata molto gentile con i suoi consigli sulle attività nella zona. Questo è un posto molto carino in cui soggiornare! Sono contento di aver scelto di rimanere qui!

We stayed for 6 nights with Edith, Bruno and their children Svena and Loris in late April-early May and we would rate it the most enjoyable homestay we have experienced in 5 trips to Europe. The apartment, below the family home, is beautifully set out, spacious, very well equipped, clean and very comfortable. The new bathroom provides you with the best shower we have had in any of our overseas trips . The outlook is superb, looking out over green fields to a huge mountain with an ever-changing waterfall in full view. The proximity of the apartment to the train station at Burglauenen and the short drive to Grindelwald enhance its location. It has the feel of a country stay so close and accessible to the tourist towns of Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen. However, good as all that is, it is surpassed by the outstanding hospitality that Edith and her family provide. It is simply the friendliest hospitality we have ever experienced. We were welcomed and cared for in a way we could not have imagined, with Edith going out of her way to inform us about what was available in the region and she understood our desire to experience the richness of traditional Swiss culture. The opportunity to relax and unwind after a month’s travel, before setting out on many more weeks of touring, was so valued and Edith and Bruno’s family made that possible. We didn’t want to be staying in a hotel in one of the tourist towns and our stay at Burglauenen provided us with the benefits of privacy, a family setting, a traditional Swiss experience, an amazing outlook and proximity to all the touristy things you could want to do. For example we took the train to Jungfraujoch and what an experience that was. We could not recommend a stay with Edith and Bruno highly enough. Five stars doesn’t do it justice. They, and our time with them, will stay in our memories for a long, long time.
