Di recente abbiamo soggiornato all'Hotel AVA nella stazione di Sempach e nel complesso è stata un'esperienza deludente. La posizione è estremamente remota, molto lontana dalla città e da altri paesi vicini, e non ci sono supermercati, bar o servizi di base nelle vicinanze, il che rende la comodità quotidiana una vera sfida. Le camere non dispongono nemmeno dei servizi di base: niente bollitore, niente utensili, niente elettrodomestici in camera. Cucinare o preparare anche un piccolo spuntino è praticamente impossibile. La stanza sembrava vuota e spoglia, rendendo il soggiorno scomodo, soprattutto se sei abituato ad hotel che offrono comodità semplici. La colazione era un'altra delusione: molto limitata, non fresca e il caffè non aveva quasi sapore. Per il prezzo, sembrava molto al di sotto delle aspettative. Altri punti: Le camere sono pulite ma minimaliste fino al punto di inconveniente. L'hotel non è pedonale; avrai bisogno di un'auto per qualsiasi cosa oltre l'hotel. Nel complesso, per un soggiorno nella zona di Sempach, non consiglierei questo hotel a meno che la posizione non abbia alcuna importanza. Riepilogo: 2 stelle, principalmente a causa della posizione remota, della mancanza di servizi nelle vicinanze, dell'assenza di servizi in camera e della colazione scarsa. Nel complesso, l'Hotel AVA è adatto solo se la posizione non è una priorità. La mancanza di servizi di base nelle camere, la colazione scarsa e l'ambiente remoto ne fanno un'esperienza a 2 stelle. I viaggiatori in cerca di comodità, servizi o attività nelle vicinanze probabilmente troveranno questo hotel deludente.

L'hotel era molto pulito e moderno. Ho adorato la doccia nel bagno, mi ha fatto venire voglia di fare qualche doccia al giorno. L'addetto alla reception è stato molto accogliente, divertente e ha fornito un eccellente servizio clienti. Sono rimasto colpito dal fatto che il personale delle pulizie abbia persino piegato il mio pigiama sul letto per me. La posizione è di fronte alla stazione ferroviaria, ma sono colpito da quanto sia tranquillo, a soli 25 minuti di treno da Lucerna. Grazie mille per essere andato ben oltre in tutto e non posso raccomandare abbastanza questo hotel.
We arrived with a tour group, but the lobby manager refused to let us rest in the lobby and made us wait in line on the back staircase. His attitude was extremely poor, so I would rate the service a zero. The manager repeatedly reminded our tour guide not to take the bottles from the rooms. We wondered what treasures they might be, only to find upon entering the room that they were plain water bottles refilled daily for guests to drink. This was the first time I had encountered such a stingy hotel. The hotel has only one elevator, which caused delays for tour groups checking into their rooms. While the hotel’s exterior appears newly renovated and the rooms are clean, there is no air conditioning—only a fan, which feels quite basic. The bathroom had a noticeable odor, and connecting my phone to the Wi-Fi triggered security warnings, so use it with caution. The rooms are also very close to the railway tracks, resulting in significant noise. The restaurant’s decor is poor, resembling a factory. The napkins were black—a major taboo. The overall dining experience was unpleasant. When we reported these issues to our tour guide, he informed us that we would only stay at this hotel for one night before transferring to another. The guide stated that he would notify the head office to add this hotel to their blacklist.
We stayed at this hotel for two nights and was very impressed by George, who was extremely polite, friendly, and welcoming. The hotel itself is spotless, with spacious and modern rooms. Breakfast was excellent, and the two ladies working in the breakfast area were very accommodating and eager to assist. The location is also ideal, being very close to the train station—just grab a ticket and you’re on your way. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Best hotel i have ever join in Swiss and the best reception guys. George is best not only because is from Greece,(for me is an extra point)but because he knows how must be a receptionist-barman etc,with the clients! Clean and fresh rooms also,with the balconies that you can take your drink,undisturbed! Wish you all the best.Next time, first choice!
