"My Experience with the Affoltern Notary's Office," or "Once to Paradise and Back" It was a glorious spring day. The chaffinches and whinchats were chirping, and the sun warmed the meadows cleared of winter. My favorite team also won an important match, which I took as an opportunity to dress in the club colors on this wonderful little day. But it was also a special day, in retrospect, perhaps the best of my life! But first things first... I ate my croissant like every morning, drank my Comella, and cleared the sidewalk of the dirt left by the previous evening's passing figures. A morning like any other... "LANDHUNTSMEN, FRESH LANDHUNTSMEN," I shouted into the street; after all, you want to advertise your wares and sell them to the people. With success; the people stopped and boldly grabbed them. Around noon, I had my appointment at the notary's office for a signing. Had I known what a highlight awaited me there, I would have enjoyed my croissant with Prosecco instead of a Comella. So I strolled casually to the notary's office, and even before I arrived, I got the first shock! It's incredible how lovingly designed and decorated this building is... This gem, right in the middle of the industrial wasteland of a train station! At reception, you're greeted with a lukewarm towel and a glass of the house's own Prosecco and escorted to your room, almost carried! Furthermore, my club colors outfit was very well received and acknowledged with a smile—what a cheer! Afterward, we went to the signing and discussion of the contract, which was handled incredibly competently and personally—chapeau! And that was just before the lunch break... Afterwards, I realized, with great annoyance (damn it!), that I had indeed left my ID at home... what a mistake! But due to my notarization within the notary community, they turned a blind eye and still acknowledged the authenticity of my signature. Yippee!! Finally, my personal highlight: Since I'm not a coffee drinker, I had to decline the request for a freshly brewed coffee TWICE... instead, they brought me a chilled water from the local in-house spring... the legendary notary water dispenser. I've drunk plenty of water directly from the spring, whether in Vals, Rhäzüns, Elm, or in the Scottish highlands. But this soothing, refreshing, rejuvenating refreshment was unique. I felt as if an angel was whispering down my throat... This establishment definitely deserves more than 5 stars! Thank you for everything!

An incredible experience... You enter the room and are greeted by a visual feast. A blooming orchid, a small box with carefully selected ballpoint pens (there were three, which, by the way, is my favorite number) lay on the counter, and a state-of-the-art, high-gloss water dispenser ensured a refreshing arrival. The cheese platter before signing the inheritance agreement filled me with pure joy. It's such a joy to enthusiastically grab a pen and let the signatures fly! The highly regarded Chäs-Stöckli in town could certainly learn a thing or two from you (their garlic raclette cheese). In that sense: a clear, well-deserved 5 stars.
