Schlechtester öffentlicher Verkehr der Schweiz. Nie pünktlich, unhöflich und höre so laute Musik, dass sogar das Ende des Busses sie hört. Sehr wenig Rücksicht auf Kunden, ich kann nicht einmal Türen öffnen, selbst wenn sie dich rennen sahen. Schreckliche Erfahrung.
Ich hatte ein Problem mit meinem Busticket. Das Team der Verkehrsbetriebe Biel war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Sie haben mir bei der Lösung des Problems geholfen. Fantastischer Service!

I was refused boarding bus number 79 with my bicycle, even though it's permitted. The bus driver was very rude and loud. He said it was forbidden to take bicycles on the bus. I know for a fact that it is allowed, as I discussed this with some colleagues at the local council, and it's been the rule for seven years. Bicycles are allowed on the bus between Evilard and Magglingen.
Bus 1 cut off another bus in the roundabout and then stalled it 😂 After a minute of wild gesturing and honking from the bus drivers, it finally moved on. Aside from that, it's an absolute disaster; buses are cancelled, delays are the norm. If you can, I recommend everyone switch to a car; it's cheaper. …
Update: Totally unacceptable. I've never seen a transport company as dysfunctional as the one in Biel/Bienne. No one answers the phone or emails. No matter how many calls or messages I send, there's no response. At this point, one seriously wonders if this service actually works. Complaint: As a very frequent user of public transport (season tickets, half-fare cards, weekly tickets), I spend between 200 and 300 CHF on buses and trains every month. Until Saturday, I had never received a single fine. On Saturday afternoon in Biel/Bienne, I was fined due to a technical problem when purchasing my ticket via the app (payment repeated several times, the City Ticket option was clearly not added despite being selected). During the inspection, I explained the situation and specified that this was my first fine. The ticket inspector showed no empathy, didn't check my fare history, and gave me no information about how to contest the fine. I was given an ultimatum: pay 100 CHF immediately or receive a higher bill. Under pressure and in public, I paid. It was only afterward, when I read the receipt, that I discovered that immediate payment meant waiving my right to contest the fine—information that was never communicated to me verbally. I find it regrettable that a loyal customer should be treated this way for a clearly technical issue, without any explanation or support. I hope that Biel/Bienne Public Transport will improve the training of its ticket inspectors and how it handles situations involving customers in good faith.
