Excellent service for me. Both printed and digital passport photos for a renewal and the results were accepted without question by Australia despite their very strict criteria. Thank you.
This place has an average rating of 4.8 stars as per July 2025. This certainly has not worked for me. The reason I chose Foto Express for passport pictures because my kids are small and great apps like Migros Cewe Sofort Photos often don’t support kids pictures if the child is less than 12 years old. Anyway…it costs 43.- per person (google says average for studio made PP photos are 20-40 CHF across Switzerland, including digital)…when you select the service you get a 15 mins slot per person…in our case, the pictures of me and 2 kids were taken within 5minutes, and then the sales rep said that another customer has to wait, and therefore I have to pay the 55.- per person express service. I told her “look, we have 25 minutes left, and I don’t think printing takes more than 5 minutes”…..she agreed to proceed at 43.-. When I asked if I could have the digital version/data, the answers was “yes, but that’s 15.- extra”….seriously…..if purely judged on price, this place is a complete rip off for passport pictures…and based on service, I also don’t think it’s great. I cannot judge on other services. But if you need simple passport / biometric pictures, don’t go there. 129 CHF for passport pictures for me and 2 kids is very expensive, no?

The photographer was super nice and had all the details of requirements for passport photos. She made my daughter feel super comfortable and we were very happy. We will be back for sure!
We saw the advertisement for a xmas shoot and signed up. This is a tradition that I have always wanted to practise, but never got started. We brought both our dog and cat and got some nice photos from the short session. The background for their xmas set-up was black, which has made for some rather dark photos. I'd appreciate a brighter scenery, in which case I'd be happy to return next year.
We got passport photos for our 3 month old. The service is very kind and - They even have a dedicated seat for newborns; - They asked about which embassy (since each embassy has a different format).
