What a total surprise to find a strudel manufacturer and cafe open on a Sunday in a little Swiss village. Just what was needed on a bike tour. We had a mushroom strudel followed by an apple & caramel one. Both were very good. As mentioned by others they are expensive but they are made with good quality ingredients and tasty. The flat white coffees need some more practice though. There are seating places outside on a nice day.
Fantastic pastries and desserts of all kinds. The coffee is fresh and delicious too. Price points are high, but for Switzerland it is value for money. The staff are absolutely lovely, and the setting is beautiful, just don't expect to eat in as it is tiny (charming) and popular. Definitely worth a visit (assuming you don't get your Poushe from Globus ;o)))
We stopped by Poushe on our way to Zurich because my son wanted some strudel. It is a small and charming pastry place. The owner is very pleasant and friendly, the pastries were delicious and we met a lady from Bulgaria who is easy to talk to and very nice. I recommend this place to everyone. Michael and his family from California
Really delicious strudels! We live nearby and mostly we pick up some yummy treats to take away. Would be nice if the price category was consistently matched by the customer service :) (Ms. Ivanka is brilliant though)
Excellent apple strudel. Perfect for getting some energy when cycling between Zurich and Zug.
The Strudel quality is very good. The pricing is insane though. Used to be 8 CHF per piece in a couple of times I went there during the last year. This weekend they charged 10 CHF per piece! What justifies a sudden 25% increase in price in Switzerland? Negative inflation rates?!
