This morning around 7:30, I was cycling from Gossau towards the Arena. I was stopped at the red light. Next to me was a semi-trailer truck from the Zingg company. When the light turned green, I started to ride. The driver also started at the same time and was alongside me. But he kept swerving further and further to the right, so I had to move out of the way on the sidewalk. He just kept driving. If I hadn't moved out of the way, I would have been under the truck. Please, all cyclists, watch out for trucks with the Zingg Transport logo. I hope that more foreign companies will enter the market in the future. When I see how the drivers here drive, I don't mind if foreign drivers are on the road. Avoid this company and I hope they go bankrupt soon.
Stay away from this company! Expenses are not paid even though they were agreed upon! When employed as a driver, you work without a contract! A few weeks later, you receive a termination notice without a personal meeting, and without any explanation! Simply a disgrace for such a large company! Safety shoes were neither provided nor paid for. Drivers are encouraged to press pause during loading and unloading to circumvent the regulations and save time, which is illegal! A disgrace.
I went to Werni Zingg's twice. I even stayed overnight the first day. A great cleaning session with fantastic ideas that we can implement.
A truck driver with the license plate ZH67... almost ran me over on the motorway during a reckless overtaking maneuver.
