Was invited here for a party. Great atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Good food and drinks selection. Lovely location at the foot of the Mythen mountain.
Whatever you do, don't come to this restaurant at lunch time, as you'll have to wait over an hour to get a plate of French fries.
@Livia Arndt Ambiance and holiday destinations are a matter of taste. In both, the owners have demonstrated exceptionally good taste without exception. This was also evident when you unfortunately had to make do with their absence during your visit. The Mythentreff proves to be an excellent choice for discerning travelers: good service, a consistent selection, and one usually only remembers the journey there, yet even a short stay provides lasting memories for several days.
@Anna Meier I would like to strongly disagree with you. I have repeatedly (unintentionally) placed myself in care level 2 at this restaurant with the help of certain soft drinks, and I have received unconditional and very attentive care. (At least, that's what I've been told.)
The owner of this restaurant only let my wife, who sometimes needs to go to the bathroom very urgently due to cancer surgery, use the restroom for a fee of 3 CHF (!!!) and laughed at her because she had no choice but to pay the 3 CHF. It was the worst and most unpleasant experience I've ever had anywhere.
