I had a great experience here. The slopes are beautiful with beautiful views. The gondolas are well maintained and there were no ques at all. Even the rented equipment was top notch. Its definitely on the pricy side but that's to be expected in Switzerland. The blue slopes are perfect for intermediate kids, my 6 year old had a blast.
Superb skiing. Absolutely stunning mountain. Village is quaint and hard to navigate by car. The actual resort has a parking lot but good luck finding it!! It’s tucked behind the main building without any signposts
My first time visiting Switzerland, and this ski resort made a good impression. There is loads of both backcountry skiing in knee deep powder if you’re willing to hike a little, and groomed piste for those who like to stay in bounds. My only regret is Andermatt, where I spend most of my time, has no terrain parks.
"Accused of theft by staff when trying to help." Lost my skis here. One staff (M. F.) was incredibly rude. When I mentioned I suspected a mix-up and handed in the other pair of abandoned (for over 24 hours) skis to the SBB Lost & Found to keep them safe, he sent me an email accusing me of stealing them. Zero help finding my actual lost skis, just aggression and condescension. All other people I reached out to were super nice. Also attaching pictures of my Nordica skis and the abandoned Volkl skis here in case anyone has any information.
Amazing views. Good staff. No crowds. Good skiing.
Great ski resort. A bit expensive (skipass is 89 swiss francs) but the area is big and really beautiful. Wide slopes in all colors (blue, red, black), all skiers can enjoy according to their level. Apres-ski offer is limited, but there are a couple of funny options for drinks on the way back to Andermatt and bottom of the resort.
