As a semi-professional cake hunter, I can confirm that their chocolate cake and carrot cake are excellent. Very fresh taste and not overly sweet. Worth the detour.
Best coffee spot of Braunwald for sure. Cozy interior, friendly staff, good vibes. But keep in mind: Swiss prices, so not cheap.
A very nice scenic cafe just beside the Braunwald-bahn stop. Good service and tasty coffee, tea and panini. There was a wide selection of tea's to choose from. There were only few options for paninis etc, but wonderful for a stop for a cake and refreshment.
Second time here, last time I wanted to leave a recommendation but forgot. I love this place, its incredibly comfy and cute, the people working here are always nice and I just looooove that you can read books in here <3
When you go to Braunwald, make a stop at BSINTI. Lovely place with friendly staff. Write a postcard and send your best moments@Braunwald to friends and family around the world or read a book. Inside and ouside cozy tables available. Mountain view included.
Good selection of cold drinks for after a warm hike. Several of my companions had various different cakes, which they were very happy with. Nice outdoor terrace for when it is sunny with a very pleasant indoor space when it is not. Great place to go especially if you have to wait for the funicular.
