It's nothing new that Switzerland isn't a pioneer in terms of equal rights. Surpassed only by CSS, whose service staff take structural sexism to the extreme. I went for my three-yearly gynecological checkup. It took weeks and many time-consuming phone calls before CSS accepted and covered the bill (even though it's part of basic insurance!).
