The hotel grounds were very clean and the pool was beautiful. The rooms were quite basic but adequate for a 3-star hotel. The entire island of Santorini is very diverse. There's a lot to discover. I had a wonderful holiday.

We booked a fantastic island-hopping trip in the Cyclades through the travel agency – with stops on Mykonos, Paros, Naxos, and Santorini. We received excellent support right from the planning stage: Our contact person was very knowledgeable, took plenty of time, and tailored the trip exactly to our needs. We are especially grateful for the support during the trip: When a ferry was canceled due to bad weather, we received immediate and uncomplicated assistance. I wanted to book my autumn holiday in Thailand through Kuoni Bülach, hoping to get better rates than through direct bookings or online portals. Unfortunately, the opposite was true. All the offers were about 20% or more higher than the prices I found directly with the hotels or online. In the end, I booked the trip myself for around CHF 9,000 – with a higher standard – while Kuoni offered me around CHF 12,000. I find a markup of over 25% completely excessive and opaque. What I found particularly disappointing was that Kuoni didn't openly communicate that they couldn't offer competitive prices in this case. Instead, I had to painstakingly compare all the prices myself, which was very time-consuming. And on top of that, I received a bill for CHF 100 for customer service. Given what I've learned about their service, I'm happy to pay it – but I also see it as further evidence of a drastic decline in service quality. I would have expected more transparency, honesty, and customer focus from a reputable Swiss travel agency. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend their service in this case. – C. Decoster
