We installed our solar system with Weber Metallbau GmbH and are extremely satisfied with their service from start to finish. Excellent advice, support, and very competent.
I had my company's solar power system installed by Weber Metallbau GmbH. From planning and installation to commissioning, their service was excellent. Highly competent. Highly recommended!
- Problems with project planning: Weber GmbH proved overwhelmed by the building permit application. Despite multiple revisions, the submitted plans for an outbuilding were not approvable. - Project management and progress came to a complete standstill. The Weber GmbH employee and managing director appeared professionally overwhelmed and at a loss at this point. The project manager of an involved landscaping company, together with the client, ultimately took over from Weber GmbH's project manager. - The work involved in the inadequate revisions to the plans and the insufficient project management resulted in an additional invoice of approximately €12,000, issued without explanation. - A metal fence (180 cm high) erected around our terrace was built crookedly. Furthermore, the solid, welded Corten steel panels warped, causing gaps at the seams. Corrections were only made after considerable insistence from the client. The repairs remain permanently visible. - A small solar array on the outbuilding constructed by the Weber company, intended to supply 25% of the electricity consumption of a four-person household and with a stated nominal output of 1.6 kWp, has been completely shaded by the main building since the beginning of November and, even in the best weather, produces less than 100 watts. That's less than 10% of what it should be producing at this time of year and in this location. An external company is now looking into it. - The subsidies for the photovoltaic system, calculated and promised by the Weber company as certain, cannot be applied for due to the system's characteristics. Despite all these problems, the Weber company consistently refused to take responsibility. Their arguments were sometimes bizarre. Communication was generally incomplete, often misleading, and very slow. The municipal employees involved in the permitting process, as well as some of the tradespeople involved, spontaneously informed the client that the collaboration was causing problems and exhibiting clear signs of unprofessionalism. I have to agree: I unfortunately cannot recommend Weber. We contracted another company to install a photovoltaic system on the roof of our main house. The differences in consultation, communication, construction management, cost control, and ultimately, energy production, could hardly be greater. On a positive note, however, I would like to mention that the design and construction of the outbuilding, the only project we undertook, was completed flawlessly and promptly, aside from the problems with the photovoltaic system.
Very friendly team, competent and professional 👍🏼 Thank you very much! …
