Update: WeRecycle was acquired by another company in the meantime and they have resumed operations now. So I am updating my rating - hoping that the service runs smoothly once again from now on. Old review: The company is in liquidation and hasn't been collecting recycle bags for almost 2 months. Do not sign up or renew your subscriptions.
Do not trust this company and do not sign any subscription with them. They are very unreliable, unprofessional and find any reason to not pick up the recycling bags. They will send you a text the day before saying they will pick up the recycling bags and will never show up. When you try to contact them, they do not pick up calls or respond emails…and find any excuse like “our drivers have all Covid” or “we were in liquidation”…..you will experience lack of trust, disrespect and unreliable company
I love this service and rely on it. I’m not going to give it one star because they haven’t picked up this week. Instead I’m leaving 5 stars and asking for some kind of update on what’s going on here. Just email your customers. Are you going to resume services or do we need to find another solution for our recycling?
The company is no longer operational. We've switched to the recycling service Mr. Green instead. They were very helpful and pick up bags from WeRecycle free of charge.
I was renewed for a yearly service without notice. They claim is in the link of terms of service I signed online ONE year ago. I consider automatic renewals with no warning a horrible and abusive business practice, but sadly it is not illegal in Switzerland. They require 60 days notice and Im only 30 days before the new collection, so everyone take note. I cancelled my subscription and they will only do it for next year. More than 200 francs for a service I no longer need. I feel robbed.
Fantastic service - if you don't have a subscription yet, get one. Makes recycling super easy even for the kids. Great customer service too - you can always call with weird requests and the team will accommodate you. You guys are great!
