This is one of the main reasons I like Elm and why it is special- a traditional artisanal bakery run by a couple- he is the baker and she sells and does much else. Wonderful top quality traditional breads and rolls and tasty, traditional and also inventive pastries . The best “birebrot”(pear bread) I have had in Switzerland. A place to experience on any visit to the Sernftal (Chylytal). And in a beautiful setting right next to the tourist office!

A traditional shop. I only tried the pudding rose. It tasted good. Hopefully, there will be an opportunity to try other pastries. The saleswoman was very friendly. Prices were fair.

The bread is as good as it used to be, the desserts are delicious, I feel like I've gone back to when I was in Switzerland as a child, well done👍👍👍

Two very cheerful ladies explained the products to us and even gave us a piece of cake to try. The bread and cake are very good, and the vanilla cream is supposed to be delicious too. ☺️ Go in and try it for yourself, it's worth it!
