The staff at the Thun-Thunersee Welcome Center were extremely kind and helpful when we were planning a visit to the Thun and Steffisburg region. They gave us very detailed information about the trains and bus so they we could just plan to get ourselves there and not worry about how we were going to get around once we arrived. Their website provided lots of information about the area, which was also helpful when planning our visit there. And when we arrived we were not disappointed! Thun is such a lovely place- charming with lots to see, but a bit removed from some of the other more "touristy" towns in Switzerland. The Welcome Center arranged a private tour of Thun and our guide, Nicola was wonderful! She was very friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the tour very much. One of the highlights of our trip! We were just blown away by how wonderful it was. Thank you!

Even though we went in winter, Thun still had charm and loads to see. The beautiful wooden bridges were not covered in flowers but they were still lovely to walk over, to admire the river, the scenery and the swans. The town was quite quiet as it was Christmas, but we came for the mountains, the lake and the vibe. We will come back again to experience more, that's for sure.
I liked very much the city guide tour. Hope to visit again for other activities
