Restaurant Seegarten — Seestrasse 23, 6442 Gersau, Switzerland

The Seegarten Restaurant is right on the lake and probably the best place to eat in Gersau. Prices are quite reasonable and service is always good. We had the large pizzas 40cm and took a few leftover slices in a doggy bag back home. The pizza is baked in their own open fire oven so it tastes delicious. Reserve seats on the terrace ahead of time if you can for groups with more than 4 people because the outdoor seating can be limited when the sun is shining. We got lucky this time because a couple just finished eating at 1pm and the pizza oven closes at 2pm. I highly recommend this place anytime for a beer, coffee or desert because, the view is awesome and you can watch the big boats coming and going.

Located right by the lake, this place is a gem among all the other lakeside restaurants. Awesome pizza, perfectly cooked steak, very fresh fish, and delicious ice cream sundaes. Every dish is awesome. The service is a bit slow and very forgetful (hence 4 stars) but the food makes up for it.

Cute restaurant right on the water! The lady serving us was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was a bit expensive for what it was, but the fish and chips were tasty. The mini pizza thing really needed some seasoning. Overall a nice experience!

First of all I very rarely post a review. The staff were great. The food (Samosa, grecia pizza) was delicious and loads. But best of all (and this coming from a scot with his own whisky bar) was the remarkable and very drinkable whisky selection.
