We visited Café 3692 on August 16 during our family’s summer trip to Europe, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our entire journey. The location is stunning, the food was exceptional, and the staff were truly wonderful. The restaurant is owned by a husband-and-wife team, Bruno and Myriam, and from start to finish you can feel that Café 3692 is their passion. They even shared a small graphic storybook that tells their personal story and the history of the restaurant over the past 45 years, which made the experience even more meaningful. As we were getting ready to leave, it began pouring rain. Although our walk back to the house was fairly short, Bruno kindly offered to drive us so we wouldn’t get soaked. That gesture perfectly captured the level of care and hospitality we experienced. They truly went the extra mile to make our visit to Café 3692 a very special occasion.
You'd have to take a bus from Grindelwald town to get here. The views here are amazing. Try to request for outdoor seating as youll have the best mountain views infront of you. There is a mixture platter of everything from egg to cheese and cold cuts. Id highly recommend to order their omelette as well, it was really tasty! The owners were very friendly too. Great service!
Beautiful patio with amazing views! Limited lunch menu but the options we had & ordered were excellent. (We were unable to get dinner reservations. Start checking availability as early as possible before your trip.)
What I appreciated most about this cute little find, were the beautiful and creative desserts, and the ambience inside. The walk up from town is do-able, if not, you can take a bus.
A must when coming to Grindelwald or indeed Jungfrau. Truly local in very sense. Refined traditional food, beautiful atmosphere, incredible service. The staff are extremely knowledgeable, happy and their relationships with each other are there to see. The result is an experience which makes you feel you are dining in their home. Locally foraged food, and meat sourced by the local butcher and from the region mean that the quality of food is the best in the valley. The drinks are also local and the ginger gin cocktail is delightful, The bespoke desserts speak for themselves. Their creativity and colour are as good as the finest Parisian Boulangerie , which is surpassed only by its taste. Memories that last a lifetime- thank you!
Absolutely breathtaking. A small, cozy place rich with history and filled with delicious food. The view captivates, as does the culinary experience. Highly recommended!
