Awesome views from great hiking trails. Restaurant at the peak is good, with friendly staff (seems like it's family run). If you're using Google Maps and want to take the cable car, make sure to look for the Wispile that says "Transit Station," and not the one that says "Ski Resort."
An ideal place for hiking and relaxing with a magnificent 360-degree view of the mountains.
We took the cable car up and in half an hour we were at the summit, 1911 meters above sea level. The view of the Lauenental valley and the Diablerets peaks is incredible. We started our hike through green meadows, magnificent groves, and past various animals: horses, goats, and pigs. We ended up at a typical cow farm and a rustic Alpine cheese factory where they were making cheese in a huge clay pot. It was a very interesting experience.
