Watch out ! We ordered tourists card online from Cubareisen Huttwil and paid by credit card. The mandatory cards for Cuba trips did, however, never arrived at our correctly stated address ! When checking and calling them they said they had sent the cards to us and implied its our fault. We did however surely not get the documents from them and checked several times Since Swiss post is normally very reliable this experience left very bad feelings and lost trust. We then decided not to book with this agency since we felt cheated. So they are also not good business people
This trip was truly special for us, and looking back, it's almost unimaginable that we planned it so perfectly ourselves. A whole month on the road, many changes of location, and yet everything felt relaxed and seamless. The start in Hong Kong was almost a bit of a shock, in a good way. The city is incredibly impressive and completely different from anything we'd ever experienced before. In Thailand, we realized just how well-thought-out the itinerary really was. Bangkok was intense, but perfectly paced at three days. Then we headed north to Chiang Mai and on to Pai. Quieter, greener, and very authentic. The pickup truck rental for the Chiang Mai-Pai-return trip worked perfectly and gave us a lot of freedom. Everything was organized smoothly and exactly as we'd hoped. In the south, things changed again. On Koh Chang, we were able to truly arrive and unwind at a five-star resort. The subsequent private transfer to Koh Kood was one of the highlights of the entire trip. Snorkeling stop, fruit bowl, and a private meal on a secluded beach. These are the moments that stay with you. Koh Kood itself was simply breathtaking. Beautiful bungalows right on the beach, hardly any tourism, and incredible peace and quiet. For us, it was one of the most beautiful places of the entire trip. What made this trip so special were the many thoughtful little details and personal tips. You can tell that everything is planned with experience, intuition, and a lot of love. Everything was also perfectly organized. We were able to simply enjoy the trip. We would never have planned this trip online ourselves. The cleverly planned stopover in Hong Kong allowed us to secure significantly better flight prices and, at the same time, created a perfect combination with a month-long trip to Thailand. The recommendations for accommodations and activities were also spot-on and noticeably enhanced our trip. The hotel is lovely, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the sea view is unforgettable. The hotel staff and the breakfast left nothing to be desired. My holiday to Tunisia (Hammamet) with a colleague was simply fantastic! 🏖️🇹🇳 Everything was perfectly organized – from the flight and transfers to the hotel. The hotel was beautiful, very clean, and right on the beach. The staff was friendly, and the food was delicious. I especially appreciated Markus's personal advice – competent, friendly, and always helpful. I felt incredibly well taken care of from beginning to end.
