We stayed one night and were very satisfied. The hosts are friendly, we were able to book a superb breakfast, and there were rabbits, piglets, chickens, horses, cats, and a dog, most of which we could pet. The view is beautiful, and the location is good if you want to vacation in central Switzerland.
6 out of 5 stars! We arrived spontaneously on a Saturday evening in September with our campervan. The welcome was very warm and uncomplicated. It has everything you need and much more. A refrigerator stocked with farm produce, drinks, fresh water, etc. Plus, a panoramic view, total peace and quiet at night, and top-notch sanitary facilities. In the distance, a donkey greets us with a "Hhiiaaa" (but he sleeps at night).
We visited the area several times during our trip with one adult and two children. The farmers were incredibly friendly and helpful; even when things seemed to be at their limit, they found a solution and provided us with shelter. The view of the valley can be absolutely stunning (depending a bit on the campsite). The showers are equipped with boilers, so you might have to wait a while for hot water – especially during peak times when people have been using them for extended periods. A small farm shop with regional and some homemade products completes the offerings. A small petting zoo with pigs and rabbits, along with two small playgrounds, round out the experience.
We stayed one night and it was great, highly recommended! We booked spontaneously and set off straight away. Very friendly family owners. Children could play freely with the ponies, cats, and dog. Superb view.
Very nice hosts, it's great to sleep there under the open sky, a super experience worth every penny/cent to sleep there!
We spent two nights over the Ascension Day holidays at the Spichtig family farm! If I could have given it six stars, I would have. The location is perfect, and even with our campervan (5 meters long), access and parking were no problem. You feel more than welcome, even though the whole family and all the staff are busy with the farm and everything else! We were allowed to help out in the barn, feed the cows, and let them out to pasture. The children are immediately integrated, and our four-year-old felt right at home. We also made good use of the playground. There's also an option to have breakfast and dinner included, which we didn't take advantage of! The view is fantastic, and while the road in the background is audible during the day, it becomes quiet by 9 or 10 p.m. at the latest. Then you're only woken up by the farm dog or the cowbells :-) We'll be back! Many thanks to Hansueli and his family!
