Come for the stunning view of the Klöntaler lake and stay for the food and friendly service. This small restaurant offers both I door and outdoor seating. Reservations are recommended as the place is packed on weekends. Traditional Swiss food and hearty portion sizes.

Wow! I did not expect the terrace and view! I don't understand German so assumed Schammhohe was a local swimming hole🤣🤣🤣🤪. So I rode my bike packing self up and I am so glad I did.

Wonderful little restaurant with an astounding view of the lake below. Seats inside, but take advantage of the glorious, sun drenched, terrace for the view! Booking in advance is recommended. The food was simple but very tasty, with local game in season and decent kid options like spaghetti with tomato sauce. Oh and the spätzli were excellent too. The homemade desserts were very good - try the Magenträs parfait, made with a local speciality of spiced sugar. The kids playground is well thought out, the slide and trampoline were enjoyed by all the kids in our party. The waitresses are charming, just uber busy in good weather as place is packed!

Food is lovely, the view is beautiful. The service was clean, fast and I’m very happy with the size of meal. There’s lots of people and plenty of parking spaces! I am hoping to come back!

Amazing place for everyone ❤️ There is a playground for children, very nice My daughter was pleasantly impressed, she played all the time At the restaurant you will meet a very friendly staff It is a relaxing and quiet place where you can charge with good energy I really recommend this place
