Unfortunately, a few years ago I also took out a very questionable Helvetia Guarantee Plan 3A through this company! Luckily, I've now checked it, but I've lost several thousand Swiss francs because I'll have to change the product to avoid further losses! Back then, I was told it was the best product, that it would be profitable. Blah blah blah! It's a shame you can't hold these advisors accountable! Helvetia no longer works with Complea AG (NOTE: PREVIOUSLY, the company was called Swissallfinanz AG). As others have mentioned, it's all about commissions, and if you're not very knowledgeable in this area, these people know exactly what to say to close a deal. Luckily, I'm older and wiser now! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
Same situation as Tiina's. Such advice is terrible and ethically highly questionable. We lost a very large sum of money through a very poor Pillar 3a solution/life insurance policy. In plain English: we were ripped off. Never again.
Beware of fraud!!!! I signed up for a Helvetia Pillar 3a Guarantee Plan. Unfortunately, I didn't verify the information I received from the advisor. In retrospect, it all turned out to be false. Furthermore, the company only responded for a second consultation about the policy after I inquired about a new contract. The representative (Mr. Calenda, the boss) had absolutely no clue about this product and tried to sell me a second Pillar 3a account. They simply sell the product with the highest commission!! Beware, they're now trying to sell you a Swiss Life Pillar 3a account. I have nothing good to report!!!
