Very cute little restaurant at the edge of town. Great views of the mountains, and comfortable seating throughout. Had the beef rouladin with spatzel and the pork cordon bleu with fries. Both meals were delicious. The staff was very friendly and attentive. It is a smaller place so try to make reservations to avoid waiting, although the wait is well worth it.
One of the best dining experiences I had in Switzerland! 🇨🇭 We truly enjoyed the authentic Swiss fondue, served perfectly with a generous basket of fresh bread. The cheese was rich, flavorful, and had that perfect creamy consistency — exactly what you hope for when having traditional fondue. We also tried their raclette, and it was just as impressive. Melted to perfection and full of flavor, it’s clearly one of their specialties and absolutely worth trying. The overall experience was fantastic — great food, authentic taste, and a cozy atmosphere that made the meal even more enjoyable. If you’re in Switzerland and want to experience real Swiss cheese dishes, this place is definitely a must-visit!
What a lovely restaurant! Both indoor and outdoor seating were charming and beautiful, with abundant flowers, lights, and wood accents. Our party of 5 adults and 2 toddlers was very kindly accommodated on short notice, which we appreciated as the restaurant was full and we were trying to get the little ones fed as soon as possible. Service was very friendly and fast, especially for the kids’ meals. Everything was delicious - we all especially loved the zucchini soup, but everything was good. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a place in a beautiful, tucked-away setting that’s easy to walk to and just off the Main Street.
We got a cheese fondue and specials of the day (Pork Rib) and they were delicious! The owner was very thoughtful - she nicely split the pork rib into 2 portion so that my husband and I can share the food easily. Danke!
Honestly, I thought this place was just average. The food was nothing to rave about unfortunately. Even the fondue was a little disappointing as it had a strange bitter flavor. The host was very nice, but the server was grumpy and we never saw her again after she brought the food, so we never got a drink refill. It was weird. On the whole, I think this place is very overrated.
Beautiful views and our waitress was amazing, attentive, patient and helpful. Best service and the food was delish too
