Great Hotel and restaurant! My experience at Hotel and Restaurant Kaiserstuhl was simply magical. Nestled in a charming Swiss village near Interlaken, this place is a true dream come true. From the moment I arrived, I felt immersed in authentic Swiss culture. The views are breathtaking: a serene lake right in front, surrounded by majestic snow-capped mountains that look like they’ve been pulled from a postcard. Every sunrise and sunset is a spectacle worth savoring. The food is another highlight. Every dish I tried was delicious, bursting with flavors that reflect the rich culinary traditions of the region. The rooms are spotless, very clean, and cozy, providing the perfect refuge after a day of exploring the surroundings. Additionally, the service from the staff is exceptional; always friendly and eager to help, they make the stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Hotel and Restaurant Kaiserstuhl to anyone seeking an unforgettable experience in Switzerland. You definitely should not miss it!
We stopped by this restaurant on our way to Grimsel pass. It offered a beautiful view of the Lungernsee with its blue-green water in the lap of the mountains. The staff were very friendly and though we just had a hot chocolate, it was a very pleasant experience and plan to return for a meal.

The restaurant is beautiful, located in a great spot with a view to the lake. Super friendly staff and good food. Unfortunately, for me, the 200g entrecôte was too small, too cooked and not that special for the 47 CHF. It was supposed to be the highlight, but unfortunately it wasn’t. Although rest of the food, the presentation and the wine were really good.
What a great dining experience. We went to Lungern Lake and had lunch here, where we ordered fish and chips, ice coffee, non alcohol apple cider and pancake. The restaurant is right in front of the lake. Staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Would like to visit this place again someday... I hope they will survive and thrive for a long time!
Loved the dinner! Can't say the same about the breakfast (not as many options and had better meats/cheeses elsewhere). But the dinner of spaghetti and entrecote was great! Great beer and we especially loved dessert of kaiserschmarrn. Our servers were both great - funny as well. They closed dinner at 9pm but we had arrived to the hotel a bit late and they were very kind about us finishing up. Pricey but that's Switzerland as we've learned. 142 chf for entrecote, 2 spaghetti, beer, iced tea, and 2 desserts.
