Amazing view, you can track your way up, but the funicular is very cool. You can choose to go straight up or take it halfway. Up there you have a view of the lakes and surroundings. Breathtaking. Enjoy a coffee in the restaurant enjoying the view with people flying around
This was an incredible experience. Jaw-droppingly steep cable-pulled carriages... Amazing scenery. Every penny worth it... People of any physical ability can experience the adventure
This place is the best for sunset lover. However, check the weather before you go because it can get super cloudy like in the picture. The cable driving up has a amazing view
Long funicular to the top of the Niesen. Easily accessible: Niesenbahn is located across from the train station. Paid parking for cars available before the entry as well. The ride to the Niesen is nice, but the end station is the most spectacular. 360 degrees views all around from the top. Niesenbahn is open for the biggest part of the year, but if you want to hike, check if the hiking trails are open - mid May they were closed because of snow still. Definitely worth the visit, even with hiking routes closed, for the spectacular views of the surrounding Alps.
Wow!! Stunning views from the top! We took the cable car up half way and then walked the top half. Great path and easy to follow. Many switch backs! The views from the top were magnificent. Then took the cable car down half way and walked the bottom half. Met up with some alpacas :)
Amazing experience of a 68% incline train ride to the top of Neisen. A tad bit expensive at chf69 return trip. The views from the top, both of the Southside alps and the plains on the north side are stunning.
