📍 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐌𝐮̈𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐫, 𝐒𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐳𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 🇨🇭🏰 Originally founded as a Cluniac priory around 1080, Münchenwiler was transformed into a noble residence after the Reformation and rebuilt in the 17th century. Nice surroundings with a well maintained castle. It is located quite far from the main attractions in Murten old town (30 min walk) and you need a car. The guest house has very small rooms hence ok-ish for one night. Not more. The breakfast is simple and also ok.
