I'm almost not sure if my previous medical center was particularly bad—or if this one is simply exceptionally good. I was used to sitting in the waiting room for 45 minutes or more and waiting days for feedback. Here, it's completely different. The waiting times are significantly shorter, and the entire team is very friendly and accommodating. The doctor treats you as an equal, takes your concerns seriously, and gets back to you promptly when necessary. I especially appreciate the transparent communication, both regarding medical suggestions and considerations, as well as financial matters. You feel taken seriously, well-informed, and very well cared for overall.

I was treated by Dr. Altmann again yesterday. Dr. Altmann is an exceptionally good family doctor. He has always helped me competently and reliably, and has always been friendly, attentive, and compassionate. I especially appreciate that he always takes his time and listens carefully. The staff is very friendly, courteous, and helpful. However, my last experience was negative and left me with the feeling that it's all about money. I had several treatments and, of course, received the invoice, which I paid on time. My health insurance company informed me that they needed the corresponding referrals. I asked MEDVADIS by email if they could send me the referrals. Because I had already paid 26 CHF for a phone call with MEDVADIS (I inquired about the price of a treatment), I added, "Please only if it's FREE." Otherwise, I would have discussed it with the health insurance company again. EMAIL REPLY: (in short) No referral is needed in these cases. INVOICE: 26 CHF. I'm shocked; the referrals weren't even issued. How can they charge for something like that? Their email telling me they didn't need to do anything cost me 26 CHF. And this after I had already received treatment there. I find it outrageous.
