one of my absolute favourites, both for the pastries and the warm, thoughtful concept behind kome.en. i first discovered Misako’s incredible pastries through Mame coffee shop, and i‘ve been a huge fan ever since. when i heard she and her team were opening kome.en, a seasonal spot with japanese-inspired food, i had to visit. my little one and i went together and were welcomed into a calm, cozy space. everything we tried was delicious! the onigiri, sando, classic soba, and of course, the pumpkin cheesecake (still dreaming of it!). Misako’s work is full of care, quality, and creativity; not only are her pastries mouthwatering, but the whole experience at kome.en felt really warm and inviting. if you get the chance to try anything from Atelier Okashi, whether it’s from one of their café partners or at kome.en — don’t miss it. a beautiful blend of flavours and heart.

My bad for not checking Atelier Okashi website before I ended realising I made a trip for nothing, since it is for delivery after online purchase. However, I have to sadly say that any information is not found anywhere in description, convincing somehow it is an on-site shop.

I am a big fan of Atelier Okashi. Love their tart and roll cakes. Super high quality. Really hope that they will open a shop in Zurich. To taste their amazing sweets, we currently need to order in big amount or go to cafe. Often, the cafes don’t have any sweets left or they don’t have what I want to eat.

Superb creations from this Japanese Atelier. We had the matcha cheesecake for a bday and it was FA BU LOUS. Also mega customer service, really appreciated the kindness and approach.
